Cover Cropping for Soil Health

Farmer Brad Bailey of Lenwood Farms uses cover crops to maintain soil fertility. Lenwood Farms is a 600-acre certified organic farm that uses a variety of organic and innovative methods including using hedgerows, integrated pest management, and on-farm solar power. Information on the latest research in cover cropping will be provided by Doug Collins, WSU Extension Specialist, and Andy McGuire, Irrigated Cropping System Agronomist.
